Moses Cone Health System is a multi-hospital system including full service medical and surgical care and specialized services in cancer treatment, women’s and infant care, and behavioral medicine. The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, in affiliation with the School of Medicine of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, sponsors GME programs in:

  • Family Medicine, with an accredited PGY-4 Family Medicine Sports Medicine program
  • Internal Medicine
  • Pediatric Teaching, UNC-CH Residents rotating each month to Moses Cone Hospital for inpatient and ambulatory experiences under supervision of the hospital’s pediatric faculty

Both Family Medicine and Internal Medicine have active and progressive outpatient clinics located at Moses Cone. The clinics utilize Centricity EMR and have ready access to state-of-the-art diagnostic tools, such as the PACs system, in each clinic. In addition to caring for a wide variety of patients at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, residents work as a member of the ED team in the Level II Trauma Center, deliver and care for babies and their mothers at Women’s Hospital, and experience care of cancer patients at the Regional Cancer Center.
